Our Classic rooms

The Hôtel Valrose has 4 Classic rooms decorated in a contemporary chalet style with red, green or grey fabrics. Combined with granite from the region and refined fabrics, the rooms offer the warmth of fire wood combined with the elegance of noble materials, local granite and fine fabrics, not to mention 4-star facilities. In the evening, comfortably settled in your room, you can admire the view of the Rubli, Rougemont's emblematic mountain, or the 11th century Romanesque church (founded by the monks of Cluny) and the 16th century castle. An elegant décor for an unforgettable stay!

Our Superior rooms

The Superior rooms, elegantly decorated in shades of red, green or grey, offer a generous space for wonderful 4-star weekends in Rougemont, Switzerland. They invite you to rest and recharge in a refined and warm atmosphere. Each of the Hôtel Valrose's Superior rooms is unique. One has a terrace with a lounge where you can spend time reading the daily newspapers at your disposition while enjoying an unobstructed view of the Rubli; another room has large wooden beams dating from 1904 and offers a view of the setting sun that gave its name to the Rougemont valley. From one of the other Superior rooms, you can admire the 11th century Romanesque church nestling in the Sarine valley.

La Table welcomes you from Wednesday lunch to Sunday lunch. Closed on Sunday evenings, Monday and Tuesday.

Le Café Valrose

Contributing to the reputation of this Rougemont institution, the Café Valrose attracts regular and casual visitors to come in and enjoy its friendly atmosphere.

Chef Benoît Carcenat, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, showcases locally grown products with a menu featuring traditional dishes.

Savour the warm ambiance of the Valrose during any season. In winter, the fireplace crackles and the woodwork is bathed in warm light.

During the summer months, the hundred-year-old chestnut tree displays lush foliage taking advantage of the first rays of sun at midday. The sweetness and joy of a new season begins again in Rougemont.

The Café Valrose is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Open 7 days a week during the high season.

The Lounge Bar welcomes you all throughout the day and provides just the right setting for whatever you might be looking for.

As Rougemont awakens, the Valrose Bar is the ideal place to be for a morning coffee.

For an afternoon snack, the dessert cart is a real treat for gourmands. Our pastry chef, Josselin Jacquet, proposes pastries, seasonal fruit pies and cakes, as well as homemade desserts of the day.

A unique and inviting place to meet and share a drink with family or friends in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Everyone can enjoy the chance to talk about their adventures of the day and share a special moment in this warm and refined lounge.

Enjoy sitting in one of the large, soft armchairs and sofas, or at the magnificent, glittering stone bar. You can also continue your evening at the Valrose Lounge after an unforgettable dinner at La Table du Valrose, Benoît Carcenat’s gourmet restaurant.

An exceptional Chef and team

Benoît Carcenat, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2015, and his wife Sabine, manage the Valrose with their team of exceptional talents.
A chef trained in gourmet cuisine by Joël Robuchon in Paris, and then alongside several renowned chefs from the South-West of France, such as Christian Parra or Frank Ferriguti.
Benoît joined the prestigious Swiss house, l’Hôtel de Ville de Crissier (3 Michelin stars, 19 Gault&Millau, elected by “La Liste” as the best restaurant in the world in 2015), where he assisted Frank Giovannini and Benoît Violier.
The Directors share the same passion for beauty and fine cuisine, driven by a search for excellence and nourished by their travels around the world. From these enriching encounters, they have continued to have a curious, open and welcoming spirit. These experiences are the foundation of their values: excellence, communication, listening and team spirit.
Benoît dazzels with his boundless creativity in harmony with his perfect technical mastery. Sabine oversees the smallest detail every day and pays particular attention to the welcome and comfort of guests.
