Four houses – one whole
Your individual well-being is our top priority at the Posthotel Taube. Wood, stone, leather and loden combine the most beautiful craftsmanship, to create your stylish vacation home. Classic luxury is standard in all rooms. In addition, we offer you rooms with a private sauna or pine wood, as well as spacious suites and much more.
The Taube: In the main house you will find 34 rooms and suites, the reception and our variety of gastronomic concepts including our à la carte restaurant, the sophisticated Schurle Halle, the hotel’s own wine cellar and the Taubenkeller.
Alpgues House: The newly built Alpgues Haus invites you to enjoy relaxing spa moments, cosmetic treatments, massages and fitness or yoga sessions. Our superior rooms with direct access to the Alpgues Spa are also located in this building.
Hunting Lodge: The Hunting Lodge has been in existence since 1453. Today, completely renovated, it offers the ideal ambience for convivial gatherings and culinary highlights of the season. A jassertable, a schnapps cellar and the in-house vanice butchery complete the offering.
House Nescherina: Opposite the Taube, Haus Nescherina houses two well-equipped meeting rooms for your workshops, meetings and conferences for up to 14 people. With a direct view of the village square.

À-la-carte dining: Here, our chef conjures up culinary delights from preferred regional ingredients. These are served in three cosy dining rooms.
Schurle Halle: Just as cosmopolitan and sociable as its namesake, our sophisticated bar in the former post office building is waiting to welcome you.
Jagdhaus: The Jagdhaus is a cosy place to get together and celebrate. Please ask us about organising culinary events for large groups.
Taubenkeller: The Taubenkeller is where we celebrate parties and thrilling nights. Also with live music.
Chef’s Table: By prior arrangement, we can light our wood-fired grill for you in advance to cook the dry aged cut of your choice in front of you.
Wine Cellar: We have set up an open wine cellar with a tasting room for all lovers of fine wines.
Taube Garden: Our garden under old chestnut trees is a popular meeting place for a drink and a snack when the weather is good.
Teppanyaki Grill: The garden pavilion with Teppanyaki Grill is the ideal location for next-level culinary experiences in the very best company.
Breakfast: In the morning, an inviting breakfast buffet awaits you at the Taube. We are happy to prepare fresh eggs, waffles and other breakfast dishes for you.
Wellness and Spa at Alpgues House
The value of the moment
400 m2 of pure relaxation. We bring the power source of the picturesque Alpgues Alpe to the hotel spa. You will find in our wellness area everything that is good for body and soul. Helping the tranquility from the outside, allows us to come to rest on the inside as well. We achieve this by consciously enjoying time and thus escaping the hectic pace of everyday life.

Conferences and seminars in the Haus Nescherina
Work and holiday like a Noble Prize winner
Our small yet exquisite seminar house Nescherina is a tranquil as well as inspiring retreat. The bust of Ernest Hemingway in front of the building recalls the Nobel laureate in literature who not only stayed in the old Taube building but also wrote important parts of his work here.
